The Mountain Villa Assisted Living Community opens it's doors in the Spring of 2006. The Kerrville location is the second facility operated by MAHARLIKA RESOURCES, INC.

The first facility, Mountain Villa Skilled Nursing Facility, opened in El Paso, Texas in 1994.

The management team at MAHARLIKA RESOURCES offers a refreshing change in perspective from traditional elderly care facilities. The difference is best reflected in our Sweet PIES program (described on our Services page), which demonstrates an innate respect for the dignity and welfare of our residents.

The company was formed to provide needed services to the growing population of older persons. We seek to fill a niche that isn't being served. That niche is providing choices for the elderly lifestyle.

Because of technological advances and increased health awareness, persons reaching 65 can expect to live an average of over 18 more years. While enjoying increased life spans, a growing number of people need assistance with meeting the Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). We also strive to find appropriate living arrangements for the increasing number of elderly or disabled individuals who can no longer live alone in safety.
